Bushel to Bottle: A Primer for the Certified Cider Professional Introductory Exam - December 29th  Instructor:  Jennie Dorsey
Until now preparing for the Certified Cider Professional program has been largely self study. The American Cider Association is pleased to announce an on-demand primer to help you study and prepare to pass the 60 question online introductory level exam to earn the title of Certified Cider Professional. The training will run about 2 hours and will cover all the sections of the exam. Test questions fall into six categories: (1) Apples, the orchard & history (2) Cider making (3) Evaluation (4) Families & Flavor (5) Keeping & serving (6) Food & cider.

The Certified Pommelier™ exam is a rigorous test of a beverage professional's cider knowledge, including one's ability to taste and evaluate an apple-driven cider. This workshop is an opportunity for students to practice using the formualted evaluation schema used in the Certified Pommelier™ tasting exam. Workshop registrants will be sent a link to purchase the cider that the instructors will be evaluating. Purchasing cider is optional. The cider for this workshop will be Stormalong Cider's Rare Apple Series 4-pack.
